Otto Brighton
Otto is a contemporary development designed and constructed by McKimm, conveniently located in the heart of Brighton, Melbourne’s premier Bayside suburb. Brownlow Interior Design were engaged to work alongside McKimm’s in-house design team to refine the Interior Design layouts and finishes for our client.

Whilst adhering to the holistic nature of the Buildings Design for all hard finish selections, our response to the Interior Decoration came from an inherent need to ensure our client’s classic style was not compromised. Luxurious fabrics, classic furniture shapes, intricate details and sophisticated patterns come together, leading the eye from one space to the next. We drew upon texture to add warmth and homeliness to the space, incorporating our very own Ocelot rug design in the living room to ground the furniture and add interest to the room. Other textures include the timber dining table and display cabinet, both of which add warmth and character to the dining area, as well as the leather dining chairs and a papier-mache pendant. Drawing inspiration from the house's coastal location, we ensured a seamless flow throughout the home with Crittall glass partition doors, airy white sheer curtains, and a striking shell mirror that takes centre stage in the bathroom.
